- High Stakes NL Hold’em Tables – Zero rake from stakes of $25/$50 and up, all day long.
For every High Stakes hand there will be a set fee of $0.10. If the hand does not reach the Flop then a fee will not be deducted from the pot, this is known as a No Flop - No Drop policy.

GUKPT - Luton
The GUKPT is back on circuit and SunPoker is joining the train on Leg 4 in Luton and you’re invited!
Starting July 5th 2011 SunPoker will be running ongoing super satellite promotion to Luton offering VIP Packages valued at £1,800 each.
The package includes:
- £1,000 + £70 buy-in to the Main Event, Aug 19th – Aug 21st, 2011.
- £284 for 4 night’s accommodation at the Days Hotel Aug 18th – Aug 22nd, 2011.

GUKPT Summer Series – Sheffield Results Summary
The third and final leg of this seasons GUKPT dual Summer Series has come to an end and here is a round up of the action that took place at the G Casino in Sheffield.
Over the first couple of days there was a disappointing turnout with just 117 players registering for the first three events, but on Sunday 117 players stumped up the £100 for the Bounty Booster. In total 226 players registered over the four days and generated a total prizepool of £43,975.
Michael Arnot was the winner of the Main Event, winning £7,820 for his two days work. Player of the weekend has to be Garry Hallows who finished third on two occasions, and he finished runner-up in the £150 NLHE Freezeout event. In all his three cashes earned him a very tidy sum of £6,630. Well done Gary nice work.
Matthew Christopher also had a great weekend, winning the opening event and finishing runner-up in the final event, earning himself a total of £4,640. All four events results and prize money are listed below.

 Cash Game Strategy
With the new Rake Break games running at SunPoker why not get a pointer or two on Cash Games! The very best way to make a profit playing poker is from cash games especially when they are at a discounted rate for the summer.
A solid cash game strategy will allow you to make a lot of money, time and time again Rake Break or not.
Play the Odds
When you are playing in a cash game you should always be giving yourself the best opportunity to win the most amount of money. If you are not a favorite to win then you shouldn’t be in the hand unless there is enough money in the pot. You just simply have to be able to make money over the long haul. There is not a reason to rush anything and go in on hands that you are not comfortable with. At the same time, you cannot be afraid to lose your money. You have to have a nice median between the two.
Play Less Hands in Cash Games
One of the biggest misconceptions is that you should play more hands in a cash game. This is completely untrue. There is no reason for you to play more hands in a cash game than in a tournament. More than your hands you should be concentrating on your opponents, position and pot odds. All of these factors are more important pre-flop then your hand. You should look at those things first, then look at your hand and decide what to do with it.
Don’t Quit While You Are Ahead
The saying, “quit while you are ahead” is for blackjack players and craps players, not poker players. Unless you are playing with luck and no skill, there is no reason to quit while you are ahead. Why would you quit when you are making money and doing well in a poker game? Instead, you should be taking advantage of being ahead and doubling what you are already ahead by. The only way you should be quitting while you are ahead is if you have problems with discipline. If that is the case, then you should not be playing poker in the first place.
Basically just tick to the basic rules of poker and you are going to be fine in a cash game. There really is no set specific cash game strategy because everyone has their own playing style. No matter what your style is the above tips are going to help your game.
