Poker Software Updates
On Tuesday, March 27th at 03:00 GMT a few handsom upgrades will be made to the SunPoker software. The estimated updated will run for 4 hours starting at 03:00 GMT - 07:00 GMT.
New and upgraded features include:
Multi Table Enhancements such as new Multi table settings allowing you to maintain table priority when no action is performed on it and keep focus on current table when a sit out on another table occurs
Table Positioning
The following new features for positioning tables are added in order to improve players experience when playing on multiple tables and participating in tournaments:
- You can choose to open a new table in the same position & view your last closed table.
- Logical „holes‟ are filled when tables are tiled.
- A table keeps its position when player changes tables in tournaments.
New opening order for tables
New default order for positioning tables is introduced. The tables are opened in an order in the following sequence:
- First table is aligned to the top-left corner of the screen.
- Second table is aligned to the bottom-right corner.
- Third table is aligned to the top-right corner.
- Forth table is aligned to the bottom-left corner.
Should your screen not be big enough and more tables are opened, the 5th table is placed over the 1st, the 6th over the 2nd, etc.
Search Table/Tournament
You will notice a small search button next to the name column; this feature will allow you to search a tournament just by typing in the name of the tournament. The search feature is NOT case sensitive but limited to 50 symbols.
Hands counting
From now on only Real hands are counted in the „amount of hands‟ played on all tables and tournaments, Asian and Western games. New Fun hands are not counted anymore.

Last Chance - Irish Open 2012
Last week SunPoker awarded 30 VIP packages to the 2012 Irish Open and this Sunday March 25th the very last package will be awarded!
One last player will be joining us at the most luxurious and lucrative land based poker tournament in Dublin, Ireland with a €4,600 Full Event Package that includes:
- €3,200 + €300 Buy-in to the Main Event.
- €395 for 5 nights’ accommodation and breakfast at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin, April 5th – April 10th, 2012.
- €50 for handling fees.

Jensen breaks through at the EPT Madrid
The biggest tournament of the week was the EPT Madrid Main Event, and with most of the big names in poker in attendance the EPT Madrid proved to be a barn-burner of an event. When all was said and done it was Danish poker pro Frederik Jensen who came through with his first major tournament victory after cutting a 3-way deal with Fraser McIntyre and Andrei Stonescu at the final table.
Here is a look at the payouts from the EPT Madrid Main Event:

ATTENTION:
With the anticipated upgrades on March 27th we would like you to be advised that some tournaments on Monday the 26th will go through the following modifications (all times mentioned are after the time change):

The High Roller Monday will play at 19:15GMT instead of 19:45GMT.

The Monday night Omaha will play at 19:30GMT instead of 20:00GMT.

The WSOP Experience super satellite will play at 19:00GMT (20:00 UK time) instead of 20:30 GMT. Separate emails will be sent to each of you in case you have players registered already so you can inform them about the change.
In addition, all other tournaments that are scheduled to play starting from 20:00GMT, will be cancelled for that one day.
