IMPORTANT: Time Change
On October 30th at 01:00 GMT, SunPoker will move its clocks to GMT time.
Software time will move one hour backwards, and all scheduled tournaments will move one hour forward (thus leaving the tournament start time at the same hour, only in GMT).
The move will be done automatically and will not interrupt any games but we ask you to please take note of the time difference.
iPOPS $1 Million Guaranteed + Live Event!

Over the Limit
It’s finally here!!! Limit Hold’em Players you have your very own leaderboard and this time we are pushing the limit with over $100.000 in cash and tournament tokens!
The race kicks off October 31, 2011 until December 11, 2011 and to make sure everyone is happy, SunPoker will run a 3 cycle leaderboard with four different categories!
The 3 cycle leaderboard allows you to jump in at any time with out ever feeling like you’ve fallen behind. During each of these cycles there will be four leaderboards ranking players by their raked hands in Limit Hold’em cash games by stake.
Cycles start on Mondays at 00:00 GMT and end on Sundays at 23:59 GMT.
First cycle starts October 31st – November 13th!
In addition to cash winnings, the top 400 players with the most leaderboard points are invited to participate in a weekly 50 seats guaranteed freeroll, every Saturday at 20:00GMT, which feeds into our newly added $20+2 Limit Hold’em Grand $200,000 Tournament.

2011 WSOP Poker Hall Of Fame Inductees Announced
On Thursday, the World Series of Poker revealed two new inductees to its prestigious Poker Hall of Fame.
Congratulations to Barry Greenstein and Linda Johnson who were voted in by a 35-person panel of existing Hall of Famers and media members, becoming the 41st and 42nd members of the elite group of poker icons.
The main criteria for the Poker Hall of Fame are as follows:
♠ A player must have played poker against acknowledged top competition
♠ Played for high stakes
♠ Played consistently well, gaining the respect of peers
♠ Stood the test of time
♠ Or, for non-players, contributed to the overall growth and success of the game of poker, with indelible positive and lasting results.
Greenstein in his true humble manner was honored and said "I'm happy to be inducted into the Hall of Fame alongside my friend Linda Johnson who has been the most fervent ambassador for poker for as long as I can remember,”
"I am extremely proud and humbled to be voted into the Poker Hall of Fame,” Johnson said. “I feel lucky to have been involved in many facets of poker over the past 35 years. Being recognized by the industry is a tremendous honor.”
The induction ceremony for Greenstein and Johnson will take place at 1630 PDT on Nov. 8 inside the Penn & Teller Theater. It will be immediately followed by the three-handed finale of the WSOP Main Event final table.
Congratulations once again to two extremely worthy poker players.
